You and your family are invited to the picnic; dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and current on their vaccinations. Registration for the picnic is required so we know how many brats, hotdogs, condiments and buns to purchase. Please bring a dish to share (enough for 6+ people) or make a monetary donation, which may be given to Beth in the OC Main Office or Ellie in BSW 270 by end of the day Wednesday, Sept 27. We have PLENTY of  chips, fruit, pasta salad, and cookies. We could really use more side salads, side dishes, and vegetarian options. Also, we are in need of monetary donations, please!
We'll start loading the trucks around 12 noon and plan to have everything set up by 3:00 pm, at which time the games (see details below) will begin. The brats and hot dogs should be ready around 4 pm, so please arrive with your dish and serving utensil (if needed) by then. We'll start packing things up at 5:30 before it gets too dark.
If you are bringing a dish that must be kept cold, please bring it in a cooler with ice. We will have only one electrical outlet in the Ramada, so if you are planning to bring your dish in a crockpot, please indicate that when you register. If you want to get your serving dish/utensil back, please be sure to put your name on them.
Not sure what dish to bring? Here are a few suggestions:
  • veggie hot dogs
  • hummus & pita bread
  • veggie sandwiches
  • veggie tray
  • tossed salad
  • Greek salad
  • potato salad
  • three bean salad

We will have games and activites going on throughout the afternoon. If you are willing to lead a game/activity, please indicate that when you register. Everything you need for that game/activity will be provided for you. If you would like to lead a game not listed here (i.e., croquet, bingo, cards), you are welcome to do so; please provide everything needed for that game. Games/activities will include:
